Welcome!

We aim to provide a comfortable ‘home from home’ country retreat for coaches, healers, spiritual workers, businesses & group visitors that wish to organise getaway retreats or events to inform & educate the diaspora on spirituality, culture, & practices of Africa.
The large conservatory and 4 acres at the back, are a perfect space to hold groups workshops and events with your attendees.
The African Heritage Retreat Centre (AHRC) is set in the picturesque countryside of Thorney in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and offers serene accommodation and spacious facilities. Suitable for family, businesses or group retreats. Thorney is a village about 8 miles east of the city of Peterborough, a city in eastern England. It’s known for the 13th-century Peterborough Cathedral, Flag Fen Archaeology Park that features Bronze Age village and causeway remains. Welcome Ceremony

In Zimbabwean culture, guests are welcomed with tea, so we will have a selection of teas & dandelion coffee available for you to enjoy, on your arrival and during your stay.

AHRC

We have completed the revamp of our centre in Zimbabwean called Pride Rock, and we are now turning our efforts to AHRC. It was originally used as an African music and dance centre for school children and teachers from around the UK. Now we are opening it up to groups, families and businesses to take advantage of the opportunity to take in the African decor & vibe in a spacious country house in the midst of Mother Nature. We are offering this countryside weekend stay at the AHRC at a super reduced price before we undergo our transformation in this New Year. The house is self-catered and you will have the entire place to yourself.
We are promoting weekends from Fri – Sun but we can arrange 2 nights (or more if required) in the week if that is preferred. A booking of over 4 days stay will receive a 10% discount.
To confirm your booking we will require £49 deposit and then final payment will be due within 3 days before the date of your stay.
Let us know if there is anything else you’d like to know.
See you soon!
Many Thanks & Blessed Love to you!
